This site, benbetson.us, is operated by Ben Stull Business Education and Technology Services LLC ("Ben's Bets," "we," "us"). We keep data collection to a minimum. This page explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Contact submissions. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide so we can reply.
- Aggregate, privacy-friendly analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand traffic (page views, referrers, country, device type) in aggregate. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites or build an advertising profile.
- Standard server/security logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as IP address and user-agent to deliver the site and protect against abuse.
Cookies
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies, and our analytics are cookieless. Cloudflare may set a strictly-necessary security cookie to protect the site from malicious traffic; this is not used for tracking. Because we use no non-essential cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required.
How we use your information
We use contact details only to respond to you and discuss working together. We use analytics and logs only to operate, secure, and improve the site. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers we share with
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting (Cloudflare Pages), CDN/security, and cookieless analytics.
- Web3Forms — processes contact-form submissions and delivers them to us by email.
- Google Workspace — our email provider, where messages you send us are received and stored.
These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service; we don't authorize them to use it for their own marketing.
Data retention
We keep contact correspondence as long as needed to help you and for our reasonable business records, then delete it. Aggregate analytics are retained by Cloudflare on a rolling basis and contain no information that identifies you.
Your choices & rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it — just email [email protected]. Depending on where you live (e.g., the EU/UK or California), you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor those requests.
Children
This site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. We'll revise the "last updated" date above when we do.
